About DronePower1

Veteran-owned, FAA Part 107–licensed drone solar cleaning. Founded by Paul Lyman, a Remote Pilot with 30+ years of military and commercial aviation experience.

Veteran-Owned

Cutting-edge drone cleaning with a safety-first mindset.

DronePower1 combines advanced drone technology with solar panel maintenance. The fleet is built around industrial-grade aerial cleaning platforms — purpose-built drones engineered for agricultural spraying and touch-free surface cleaning.

DronePower1 was founded by Paul Lyman, an FAA Part 107–licensed Remote Pilot with more than 30 years of military and commercial aviation experience. That background puts safety at the center of every cleaning plan, from pre-flight inspections to controlled spray lanes to verified handoff. Deionized pure water creates a spot-free, touchless clean designed to protect the solar investment.

The Part 107 certificate is the Federal Aviation Administration's commercial drone pilot credential — the same authorization required for any commercial aerial work in U.S. airspace. It governs flight operations, airspace authorization, and the safety procedures the crew runs on every visit.

Service areas include the Colorado Front Range and the Palm Springs Desert Valley, with upfront pricing and a process designed to keep roof access, liability, and customer hassle low.

Our Why

We deploy drones for a cleaner tomorrow.

At our core, we are an innovative drone operations and green energy company. We use drone technology to complete tasks efficiently, effectively, and safely — reducing customer cost while increasing environmental sustainability.

Humanity has experienced two revolutions that advanced quality of life: Industrial and Computer. In each, the companies that embraced change urgently and intelligently became industry leaders. The third revolution is here — AI, Bots, and Drones. DronePower1 is built to be one of the visionary companies of that revolution: deploying drone advancements to solve real, everyday workforce inefficiencies. Machines increase productivity, reduce liability, lower cost, and run greener than manual labor. We are bringing those advantages directly to the green energy industry.

Vision

Deploy drones for a cleaner tomorrow.

Mission

An innovative drone operations and green energy company — completing tasks efficiently, effectively, and safely while reducing customer cost and increasing environmental sustainability.

Core competency

Utility, commercial, and residential solar panel maintenance cleaning — the greatest good for humanity and the planet.

A green company

Serving green power. Touch-free deionized cleaning that protects the panel and the planet.

Core Values

Five values, on every flight.

  1. 01 Safety

The foundation of everything we do. Pre-flight inspections, controlled spray lanes, and FAA Part 107 procedures on every job — so pilots, crew, and customers stay safely on the ground.

  2. 02 Agility

Speed is a competitive advantage. Rapid mobilization, twenty-minute setup and teardown, and the ability to enter new markets quickly before the window closes. Act first. Act fast.

  3. 03 Service

Better customer experience from appraisal to job completion forms a partnership for the life of the customer's solar system — not a one-off transaction.

  4. 04 Innovation

We look for ways to do things better: refine systems, pursue untapped markets, and apply drone technology to problems where no one else has looked yet.

  5. 05 Excellence

Quality and cost discipline at every level. At DronePower1, being the largest means delivering the best quality service at the lowest price — not cutting corners to grow faster.

Our Strategy

Four pillars. Five values. One mission.

Every business decision at DronePower1 maps back to the same framework: capture the market with speed, maintain it with service, grow it with innovation, and dominate it through excellence and cost discipline.

01

Capture

Core Value: Agility

The solar panel cleaning industry has no national leader — it's a cobblestone patchwork of small operators. DronePower1 moves fast to plant a flag in every high-growth market before a competitor can. First-mover advantage is the plan.

02

Maintain

Core Value: Service

Retention is built visit by visit. Transparent pricing, reliable scheduling, and documented results turn a single cleaning job into a long-term asset maintenance partnership.

03

Grow

Core Value: Innovation

Solar cleaning opens the door — but the drone platform is capable of far more. Softwashing, facade cleaning, window cleaning, and future applications we haven't defined yet. We grow where the technology leads and the market pulls.

04

Dominate

Core Value: Excellence

Largest means best quality at the lowest price. Operational excellence and cost control let us outcompete on every dimension that matters to the customer — and maintain that edge as the fleet scales.
